Things to Bring

Winter Equipment and Clothing List

Clothing - Essentials
• 1 pair winter boots (warm and waterproof)
• 1 pair inside shoes (or slippers)
• 2 or 3 pair of socks per day
• 1 pair long underwear per day, plus 1 extra pair
• 1 pair of pants per day, plus 1 extra pair
• underwear as necessary
• 2 sweaters
• 1 shirt per day, plus 1 extra
• snow pants
• warm winter jacket
• 2 toques
• 2 pair mittens/ gloves per day
• scarf or neck warmer
• sleep wear

Clothing - Optional
• wind breaker or shell
• rain proof jacket
• neck warmers/ nose warmers, vest, knickers

Equipment - Essential
• bedding: sheets/ blankets or sleeping bag
• toiletries: soap, towels, shampoo, personal items
• prescribed medication
• completed medform

Equipment - Optional

• skis
• skates and a hockey helmet
• flashlight
• day pack/ back pack
• book

Leave At Home
• extra snacks, gum and junk food

Spring and Fall Equipment/ Clothing List

Clothing - Essentials
• 1 warm sweater (preferably wool)
• Rain gear (rain coat, rubber boots and rain hat) All campers must have complete rain gear
• long pants
• 1 pair of socks per day
• 1 swim suit
• Pyjamas or sleepwear
• 1 short sleeved shirt per day
• 1 jacket
• shorts
• 1 sun hat (a Must!)
• 1 pair of running shoes
• 1 pair of shoes/slippers for indoor use only
• long sleeved shirts
• underpants

Optional Clothing
• Toque, vest, mittens, gloves

Equipment - Essentials
• Bedding - sheets and blankets or sleeping bag
• Toiletries - soap, towels, shampoo, toothbrush and paste, personal items
• Prescription medication (along with a note of explanation and description)
• Completed Medical Forms

Summer Camp Clothing List
Bring this list to camp so you can use it when packing on the last day of camp.

Equipment:
• Sleeping bag
• Pillow and pillow case
• Extra blanket
• Sleeping pad for on-site outrip (blue foamie works best) – IMPORTANT!
(**Note: sleeping pad is not required for Sailors WS 1, 2&3, Explorers or
Session 8 Discoverers)
• Sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher, waterproof)
• Flashlight and extra batteries
• Insect repellant – no aerosol spray please
• Personal toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, wash cloth, etc)
• 2 towels – one for shower, one for beach
• Water bottle – 600mL pop bottle works well – IMPORTANT!, please label
• Day pack – for on site outrip – ESSENTIAL FOR PROSPECTORS!
(**Note: day pack is not required for Sailors, Explorers or Session 8 Discoverers)
• Laundry bag – to keep dirty clothes separate from clean clothes

Clothing:
• 4 t-shirts
• 2 long pants
• 4 shorts
• 2 long sleeve t-shirts (more for August)
• Warm sweater
• Pyjamas
• Underwear
• Indoor shoes/slippers
• 7 pairs of socks
• Rain suit – pants, jacket and hood/hat – be sure it is waterproof by testing it in the shower
• Rubber boots – please label – they all look the same!
• 1 pair of running shoes/sneakers
• 1 pair of sandals
• Swimming suit
• Hat to protect from the sun
• Windbreaker/jacket

Optional:
• Books or comics for the bus ride
• Camera – MUST BE LABELLED!
• Swim goggles
• Scribbler or journal and pencil/pen
• Lip balm
• Sunglasses

Additional Items for Sailing Programmes:
• Extra swimsuit
• Extra towels
• Wet suit (optional)
• Boat shoes DO NOT BRING: knives, radios, walkmans, discmans, money, food or snacks, candy, gum, valuables, tobacco, electronic games/gadgets, cell phones, pagers, alcohol, video cameras or other electronic devices

Session Five is Food Allergy Camp - For the safety of those children attending with severe food allergies, please DO NOT send any snacks or food during this week (or any other week).
