Paddle Albert Waterfront Canoe Instructor

This course offers certification from Paddle Alberta (formerly the Alberta Recreational Canoeing Association) to those who want to instruct a waterfront canoeing session in a controlled setting. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following skills: tandem – straight line, side slip, spines, figure eight, t-rescue, reverse straight line; solo – figure eight, straight line. Candidates must also exhibit leadership and group management skills and experience.


Dates: TBA 2010, usually in late May or early June
Cost: TBA per person (Includes instruction, accomodation and meals)
